Deputies Euthanize One Of Two Mountain Lions In Neighborhood North Of Cheyenne

Multiple pre-dawn mountain lion sightings just five miles northeast of downtown Cheyenne sent law enforcement scrambling Saturday morning to track down a predator wandering through a residential neighborhood.

“It repeatedly crossed property lines, went beneath porches, and moved near children and livestock,” the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department said in a Saturday statement. “With no safe opportunity to contain it, deputies had to euthanize the animal.”
