After a week-long search, 17-year-old Lizzie Barrett was found alive. She was hiding under a pile of clothes in a small space in the attic of a barn in Lander. A person who saw a wanted post on Facebook tipped off police to her whereabouts.
According to her mother, the girl had been in the barn for several days with her boyfriend. After being found, she was taken to the sheriff’s office and later released to her parents.
