A Colorado man accused of killing his wife in a plunge off a Wyoming mountain road after searching “cliffs near me” has returned to Wyoming to face a murder charge, with a $5 million cash-only bond set and his case advancing to district court.
Forrest Jay Wood, 46, waived a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday in Carbon County Circuit Court, allowing the case to proceed to district court without a preliminary hearing on the prosecution’s evidence.
